To talk about myself I would use the English concept of Language Enthusiast, with its bad translation into Italian. Years of study, travel and authentic and pulsating passion for what lies beyond the border converge in this expression. I have an indiscriminate interest in any culture and any person with a story to tell. I remain with difficulty compressed in my dimension, I feel the continuous need to push myself further. I can't stand the innuendo, the half sentences and the boredom of waiting rooms. Certainly communicative, analytical, I split reality into a thousand pieces and then reassemble it. What unites the election posters with the paper tickets we used for the tram? For visual culture, the challenge of the third millennium lies in seeing the red thread that binds each of its branches to tell the image and aesthetics. I would like to do it through a passion that comes from the tradition of classic cinema. Let us see in detail some very prestigious installations:
- Ducasse Sur Seine was born from a project by the naval architect Gérard Ronzatti with the direction of M. Galante and T. Lancman. It is an elegant and modern 40-metre boat, a floating restaurant designed to celebrate all the excellence of the most starred living chef in the world. With the Seine in their mind, the designers created a visual language directly inspired by the movement and reflections of the river. Bringing the outdoors inside, they conceived the exquisite atmosphere of Ducasse Sur Seine to synchronize with its surroundings. Movement, reflection and fluidity of water: patterns of waves and ripples are explored in the restaurant. The ceiling of the large room was created by PLANIUM with 3,000 metal sheets with a millimeter thickness and three-dimensional development, in different shades of silver and gold. An LED system integrated between the waves gives a subtle effect of movement. This lighting, designed by light artist Franck Franjou, is coordinated with the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. The metal waves on the ceiling were created in PRE-ANODIZED ALUMINUM in SILVER and GOLD shades, 0.5 mm thick. They were anchored to a shiny metal mesh, electrowelded with assembly small parts also in shiny metal, taking care of every detail to the desired perfection. The assembly of the waves on the network has been designed to make the installation on the ceiling of the room precise and rapid.
- The Marsan restaurant is on the Left Bank, a much loved intellectual, artistic neighbourhood. Pupil of Maestro Alain Ducasse, Hélène Darroze is a brilliant French chef, who has several restaurants around the world and two Michelin stars under her belt. On the occasion of the opening of the new Marsan project, the architect Patrice Gardera for the Gardera-D/Architecture studio wanted to add floors that would represent a sure innovation in such an exclusive space. The choice is PLANIUM, with its easily positionable and applicable systems. PL01 INVISIBLE Floor allows immediate, one-click and, if necessary, reversible installation. The installation did not require the use of glues or silicones. Some simple cuts were made to finish the surface, in 600x600 mm plates. The millimetric thicknesses make even large format plates easy to handle. The surface is continuous, where the escape cannot be seen. In a context where order and cleanliness are determining factors, the finish used is STAINLESS STEEL.
