'We can travel in many ways'

We can travel in many ways. We may move on land, by sea, in the air. We would reach distant, exotic destinations, climb a mountain or dive into a river. If, however, we cannot do this, then we could use our fantasy, memory and perhaps the tales of our childhood. Even just by observing objects it is possible to cross space and even time. Behind contours and shapes, we would find stories that sink into the past of design, when the functional need was more marked than the aesthetic question. If we slip along the profile of even the most basic home furnishings, we are able to investigate the interesting origin of many everyday tools.

Then there are objects that go far beyond the souvenir of a trip. They are small wonders that rekindle a flame that is still alive within us.

Skylight is emotion that captures the soul of a city by bringing it into your interiors.

Two Metropolises

There are cities that remain attached to the heart, and this happens for several reasons: for their aesthetic appeal, for the characteristics of their inhabitants, for the offer of leisure and pastimes. You can love a place simply for the atmosphere and the warmth that is perceived. Regardless of why, each city has its own well-defined character.

Paris is the most romantic city that exists, steeped in history, culture and social ferment. Paris is the city of light, a driving force and a meeting point for people and ideas. Each of us is planning a trip to the French capital sooner or later.

Milan is the symbol of industriousness and concreteness, of rebirth, of the post-war economic miracle. Milan is close to Europe with its tall and modern skyscrapers. The Lombard capital offers job opportunities ranging from industry to more creative sectors, passing through communication and services.

Paris and Milan share a constant dynamism and desire for evolution. Elegance and style always move these two metropolises, trend setters of fashion and design.

Skylight Milano and Skylight Paris, designed by Alessandro Giust, are produced by TERENZI SRL. Skylight Milano is also available in coat hanger and storage compartment versions.
