To talk about myself I would use the English concept of Language Enthusiast, with its bad translation into Italian. Years of study, travel and authentic and pulsating passion for what lies beyond the border converge in this expression. I have an indiscriminate interest in any culture and any person with a story to tell. I remain with difficulty compressed in my dimension, I feel the continuous need to push myself further. I can't stand the innuendo, the half sentences and the boredom of waiting rooms. Certainly communicative, analytical, I split reality into a thousand pieces and then reassemble it. The Milan Design Week 2023 ended some months ago, where among the different realities the PLANIUM brand was engaged in the lively Brera district, in the Cloister of Piazza San Marco. For this edition of dOT, Design Outdoor Taste, the Milanese company gave a new interpretation to Metal, the true focus of its artistic vein, emphasizing its infinite possibilities.
The moment is perfect for a break on comfortable seats, where you can admire the next and central part of the space.
Continuing on, we reach an elevated area, a scenario created by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman:
“A square space defined by a suspension of thin metal chains that welcome the visitor with their sound and their shimmer. At the center of the space, a family of luminous objects formed by a set of corroded and perforated metal elements, their texture which seems to be the result of a natural aging process creates a magical play of light and shadow.”
The Shadow Light luminous objects were conceived by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman; obtained with both natural and oxidized brass, they stood out suspended like a precious dress capable of "dressing the light", recalling the contours of the lanterns, with their own material lightness strengthened by the shining tones of the metal. The elliptical and spherical versions remind the laces of the high fashion collections, an area that the famous duo knows well.
